I voted for Obama. And against Proposition 8. And against Proposition 4.
I voted early, in person, not by mail. So my ballot is still secret.
Which means, maybe I didn’t vote for Obama. You’ll never know. That’s the power of the secret ballot. I can tell you how I voted, but I can’t prove it to you. So you can threaten my dog, and I’ll tell you what you want to hear. However, in the enforced privacy of the voting booth, I voted the way I wanted to vote, free of any coercion.
And I voted for Obama. (But maybe I didn’t.)

You know Ben, I would have voted the same way… if I were American.
That’s the power of not being allowed to vote. I can tell you how I would have voted, but I can’t prove it to you. 🙂
